Joe Pleban is a professional adaptive snowboarder

on the U.S. Parasnowboard Team from Fredericksburg, VA. Joe travels all around the world competing in Banked Slalon and Snowboard Cross.

When Joe first became an amputee,

he had trouble finding other amputees or adaptive groups, particularly in his favorite sport, snowboarding. Because of this, his mission through this journey is to let other amputees and those living with disabilities know that there are amazing opportunities out there!

Joe continues to strive to spread his story and experience to help grow the amazing adaptive community.

Joe’s dream is only achievable through the support of Joe’s family and friends, and the sponsorships he receives that help cover the costs. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact Joe at rightfootedjoe@gmail.com.
